Kinesis Pro GTX

Absolutely great, well made, long lasting, and versatile boots.

I have been using the Kinesis Pro GTX boots since they came out in early 2010's with nearly daily use. Each pair lasted around 5+ years before I had worn down the soles enough to need replacing. The ankle support is great for carrying heavy packs over distance and uneven terrain. The shank provides great protection while hiking in rough terrain and remains comfortable when climbing on tree spurs. The leather and waterproof quality are top notch and typically last longer than the Vibram sole. The full grain leather is also vital for anyone working or hiking in desert environments for cactus spine protection. Beyond these features, the fit is perfect for my feet providing a mix of comfort and support needed for my field work without ever having issues with blisters or sore spots. I highly recommend this boot for any serious backpacker, hiker, or field biologist.

A HUGE step up from the throw away boots at most sporting goods stores. This boot is gonna last several times longer than Merrills or Keen style boots. Very satisfied with them.

Best boots ever

These boots are light, but supportive, perfect middle range of width for the toe box, and they out up with all the abuse you can give them.
