Jute Braided Rug | Off White

Beautifully textured

I love this rug so much that this is my second time buying it. The colors are light and neutral and the chevron pattern braiding gives so much texture to the look. I do worry about the edging as it tends to get loose strands.

Lots of Loose Ends

There are quite a few tufts of jute sticking up all over the rug, so it doesn't look very smooth. I will say, it is nice and thick, but I will likely need to move this to a less traffic area.

Disappointment

We purchased this in a large size and found it difficult to square up -- it is not perfectly straight/even. The big disappointment is the sewing of it is unraveled in many places, many holes and it would be super expensive to ship back. I guess I will be spending hours repairing this so it is more durable. Shouldn't be necessary with this expensive of a rug. Before buying a jute rug also keep in mind you can't use a robot vacuum or anything with a beater brush. I'm having to buy an attachment for my vacuum. The shedding and loose short ends are a LOT. Hoping this gets better with time. The color is exactly as I had hoped. Overall, I would not repeat this purchase and wish it was easy to return.
