The F10 Pro water heater works fine, but is not what was expected. The ability to adjust the size of the flame has too limited of a range, which if the lowest setting is too hot, the only solution is to adjust the incoming fuel at the source. This is a miss in the design as it then causes you to have to go back and forth between the propane tank and the heater to find the right balance of pressures between the two. While the unit has a display that tells you the temperature of the water, the inability to set a specific temp is a missing feature (considering the cost of this unit) that is available on less expensive units and other brands. This causes you to waste water trying to dial-in the ideal temperature as you have to manage incoming water temperature and fuel pressure. If using as a camp shower, the unit won't be easily in reach for the user to adjust the temperature, relying on this being determined before the shower wand is placed in any enclosure. All of this is compounded by the number of users who may have different temperature preferences having to reset it each time. This unit would work best if it is permanently mounted as a rinse off station for a person's beach where the person isn't using this to bathe, but to rinse off sand or lake/river/ocean water. We'll probably keep it to bath our dogs in the back yard so they can have warm water in the cooler months, but would otherwise have returned the unit if there wasn't the 20% restocking fee and shipping costs.
