Love these pants!

These pants are extremely comfortable—even just for walking around—which is exactly what I wanted. I can get off the bike and go straight into a doctor’s appointment or grab lunch without needing to change. On the bike, they’re just as comfortable as you’d expect from leggings, and the flexible armor keeps them from feeling bulky or stiff. It’s around 60°F right now, and when riding I notice a nice cooling effect from the airflow across the fabric. I really appreciate that, since I always wear a lot of gear. I’ll be curious to see how that holds up in a few months when I’ll be riding in a much warmer country. For reference, I’m 5’4” and 115 pounds, and the XS fits perfectly. The zippers at the bottom of the legs make them very easy to remove. There is a bit of minor bunching behind the knees, as some reviewers mentioned, but I didn’t find it uncomfortable—it just seems to come with this style of pant. I also didn’t experience any issues gripping the tank with my thighs that some mentioned. I was wearing shorter boots, so I wasn’t able to test the new zipper placement that Pando Moto adjusted based on customer feedback. W&T immediately responded to my question about the armor, which I really appreciated, and shipping was quick. Before buying, I also reached out directly to Pando Moto (in Lithuania, I believe) with several detailed questions about the product and some of the reviews I’d read. They were incredibly responsive and helpful—especially important for a $300 purchase. It was also great to be able to buy through a U.S. retailer in case I needed to return them. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. The quality is excellent, the protection level is outstanding, and both Pando Moto and W&T provided exceptional customer service.

Amazing alternative to riding pants

I am 5'8 and about 150lbs. I ordered a medium and it is a pretty good fit. It was pretty tight when I first put them on, but after 20 minutes walking around the house it was feeling better. airflow is great. I have not gone down on them so I can't speak to durability. Some negatives: The seams that connect the thicker fabric with stretchy thinner fabric runs on the backside of the knee and can become irritating when you bend your leg. These leggings are quite thick and heavy, so it is much harder to put on and take off than regular leggings.

Looks stylish but very small

I sized up from my normal size after reading reviews and the pants barely fit me. There were no instructions on how to insert the padding either which would have been nice.
