H-Base for Paper or Steel Targets - Stand Base

Little pricey compared to other stand options, but the quality is super nice. Its durable and pretty light to haul around. Heavy enough that it doesnt tip over due to wind. The extra slots for the paper target slots are a really nice touch. Very happy with purchase

Solid, Simple Steel Target Stand

I picked up the H-frame target stand and used it with a 1/2" AR500 6" plate mounted on a 2×4 post. The design is simple but very effective. Setup was quick, the base is stable, and the plate hangs freely so it gives a clear ring when hit. One thing I particularly like is that the 2×4 acts as a sacrificial component. It took a number of hits during our session, but replacing a piece of lumber would be cheap and easy, while the steel frame itself remained solid and undamaged. The frame also does a good job letting the plate move and directing splash downward when the target swings, which adds an extra level of confidence when shooting steel. Overall it’s a well-thought-out design that’s sturdy, easy to transport, and simple to maintain. I’m very happy with it and expect it to see a lot of use.
