Backfire G5 Electric Skateboard with R5s Remote

Love my new board, the performance is amazing and love the extended mileage compared to my other board. Also love the remote as well. It is a bit heavy but I know that helps with distance. Also great delivery and packaging as well. I'm a very happy customer

Guuuysss! Oh my Gosh! This thing G5 is the Beast! I convinced my brother to buy it too! I Love this thing, try to ride it on ECO mode on the first ride and setup the wheels and truck by yourself carefully and on more rides you get to know how the Surfing the Road is so Amazing! Love it so much! I hope he will get many fun with us!

I have been e-skating for 4 years and this is my G5 review. The G5 is my 3rd e-board and a great value for money. The G5 is great for cruising around, commuting to work (as i do) and offers a smooth reliable and high quality feeling all around with great maneuverability and light weight. Also the hub motors are slick and more incognito than the belt driven counterparts. The negatives are the weak engines that makes the acceleration a bit boring if you are used to more power, although the engines easily get you to the promised 40k/ph on flat surface. The second part is what i am suspecting a manufacturing fault as one of the hub motor trucks have become slightly bent after about a month and a half of use. I have treated the board with the same harshness as my previous boards and skated the same routes so ive concluded that either the hub motor trucks are more frail than the solid belt motor ones or there has been some damage done to it during manufacturing. The board still works but i dont want to skate at full speed or over bumps in case it breaks. I will contact backfire and update this review once the issue has been resolved. Either way i highly recommend this board for beginners and intermediate skaters that wants a big bang for their buck. I have previously owned the backfire zealot and an all teerain exway atlas pro. The G5 is easily worth its asking price. //Arvid Smitt
