Ths phono preamp is genuinely outstanding! Night and day over cheaper preamps and a couple others I have tried that cost quite a bit more. Heck, I like it ao much I now have 2! Like everything that Parasound makes, it’s of the highest quality, their shipments arrive quickly, and is always super well packaged. And the veteran diacount is a hugh bonus!

No comparison
I really don't have anything to compare this to except for the built in phono stage on my stereo receiver (Yamaha R-N800A). I can tell you it's night and day over that receiver's input in a better way. I really like the extra control with gain and filters this unit gives me. I'm just now getting back into vinyl from back in my 70's era. Retired now so budget is always a concern for me and this one fits. Very happy with it. Will be looking at their power amps next.
