I am new to sprouting but was eager to try. I also have a lot of mason jars that I like to use for just about everything. This lid screws on smoothly, and I appreciate the steel screen since I would prefer not to have plastic against my growing sprouts for several days. The legs that keep the jar lifted off the counter are wonderful. Works great - I just finished my second batch..... and ordered another lid so I can have two going at the same time!

I am pleased with the quality, but I have not had time to sprout my seeds yet to see how it is when I use them
