We sprout a dozen jars of organic French green lentils every few days. Thus, I can surely say, that this product is helping me in so many ways. I've just started using the Spouting Lids, so it hasn't been a long time to determine the rust proof part. However, other screens and rings have definitely rusted after this much use. Love the one piece design so they are easy to take off and put on. Love the curve that lets more air in and also the shape lets the water out more easily. The only drawback is that the threads seemed a little off so sometimes turning the sprouting lid onto the jar was awkward and sometimes went on crooked.

Just finished sprouting for the first time with your stainless steel lid and screen and it works fabulously. I would highly recommend these for anyone wanting to do sprouting. The quality is great the shipping is quick
