124 – Adult's Fairbanks Anorak Pattern

Great pattern. I managed to make it, though it has been over 40 years since I last touched a sewing machine in grade school. Some of the terms used were unknown to me but with some patience and good written explanations, I was able to figure thing out 😀

I am new to this pastime and this is the first pattern I have purchased. I was pleasantly surprised to see how even a novice like me could follow the instructions. It is early days in the project, but all the information I need to do a decent job of it, is provided in the pack. Very nicely impressed

yes, this is the first thing to get if you thinking about MYOG your puff jacket!! I made this jacket with Thinsulate 100gsm by 3M and 15D ripstop nylon. I choose size 40, 175cm, 75kg its a littlie bit big but its good easy to wear w/o full zip. I took about 12 hours from cutting materials to make it(i sewed really carefully)and was good experience to my first sew an apparel project. instructions are really detailed so I didnt confused but it has many steps to do, so you should estimate get long day, dont be hurry. thanks green pepper love your jobs!
