Major upgrade from the old Randos (now called Rando Tech)

I've been using the old construction Randonneurs for about 25 years now, on the back wheels of the track builds and other fixed gear builds I ride on City streets. With the recent re-branding of that construction as "Randonneur Tech," I decided to check out the other "Tech" offerings and found that this Adventure Tech tire has both a thicker puncture strip and a better tread pattern for riding versatile environments (including light offroad stuff). The center strip is fast on asphalt, and the little grippy areas at the sides provide that slight bit of extra confidence you need in loose bits of City or surface dirt. Finally, the rubber compound and thicker puncture strip and recommended pressure all combine to feel both supple AND firm, if that makes sense. Overall, I'm THRILLED to be using this tire now and when the old Randos finally skid out on my other fixed bikes, I'll be replacing them all with these. Big upgrade for my preferences. Hope your experience matches mine!

Great tires

Really like them. Had cheap ones that I didn’t like and had constant problems with. I noticed the difference on my first ride. Ride smoother and it’s a little easier riding uphill. Love the reflective sidewall. Vittoria is now my go to tire company. Love the tread design. Very happy customer. Highly recommended. Andy
