Great Tire for the price

My bike came with a different brand 700 x 32cm and I wanted a little more volume. I bought the Randonneur 700 x 35. I would have like a little bigger tire, but the clearance would have been a factor. I find these are really close to 35mm when inflated. I have had the Randonneur 26” on several other bikes and liked them. I was not looking forward to the fight that I usually have to install them. It might be the tire size or evolution of the model, but these went on very easily. I have heard complaints about these being slow, but they seem to have low resistance. However, this is based on a very unscientific feel. It should not matter, but I like the way these look.

Fatter tires.

I ride trails that are older and in need of resurfacing and I replaced 35’s with 40’s. What a difference maker. Very pleased with this change.
