Weeping Willow Trees

The tree arrived on time and in great condition. I unpacked the tree the same day and planted it in a hole I had dug several days before. It was over excavated in depth and width. I also soaked the hole days before. The root ball was tightly interwoven so I loosened it up and planted the tree. I used a quality potting soil mixed with our native soil, watered it and staked it. Two days later the leaves started to fall off. That’s where I’m at today. I hope it survives.
