Done with Quicken

Decided to scrap my Windows8 machine and Quicken Premier 2015 for a Quicken-like app that doesn't have a yearly fee. Found Georges Budget for Excel v20 and decided it was far more than I currently need but has plenty of features if I wanted to go beyond the basic checkbook functionality. The Georges spreadsheet is very robust and offers functionality very similar to Quicken. I've been using it for about 5 days, have entered everything from 12/31/2024 through today and I am getting used to the slight differences in functionality and enjoying the robust record split, clearing and reporting functions. I also like to be able to add my own categories so that my end of year tax information will be more granular. The Help videos are many with clear and concise examples. If you want to avoid the yearly Quicken fees and don't want your data on the cloud, you should find this spreadsheet as a great alternative!
