Ulanzi Stream Controller D200

Got this for a laptop that did not need the extensive collection of apps from Bitstream. I just needed something to access my installed apps on the laptop and the U-Studio D200 fit the need. It was a lower cost alternative to an LCD Key Controller. The app needed to arrange the keys and assign programs was easily downloaded from the Ulanzi site. I have had no issues with this D200. It is well made and should last for quite a long time.

So honest review of the ulanzi D200 Stream deck, this thing is an absolute powerhouse in its price range when compared to the Elgato stream deck mk.2. While it lacks the plugin variety of the elgato it makes up for it in build quality and the in depth nature of the software and how easy it is to setup and get going. The plug ins it does have though work flawlessly for me and I have had no trouble setting them up and getting going with it. Though this is a new product plug in variety will more than likely expand out to rival other stream decks and become an amazing budget option The buttons also feel great have a good tactile click and the colors on them are great, it holds an amazing resolution on icons and images and is super fast and responsive. The amount of control and customization you can have on this thing is surprising considering price, I’ve had this for a little over two weeks and am still learning new ways to customize it and have a blast. The two nitpicks I do have with it though are the screen and holder to keep it stable are a little loose, so if you try to move it around on the desk they sometimes come apart and it’s a little bit of a pain. But I don’t move it that often so it’s not a big deal. And the other thing I wish we had the option of is customizable face plates like the Elgato does, it’s not a necessity but it would be nice to see down the line. I have had nothing but a positive and amazing experience with this stream deck and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade not just their streams but their productivity and easy of work on their pc. Hopefully ulanzi keeps the program active and expands all the plugins to make this a real competitor to Elgato or even allow customers to make their own plugins or layouts for others to use and see. This thing is amazing for the price, I wasn’t expecting such a high quality item for this price, thanks ulanzi for saving people money and making this an absolute powerhouse I’d buy 2 more just for my friends who have wanted ones from Elgato but couldn’t justify the price, now they have a better option.
