Travel Chess Set Magnetic Folding 12" with 2 Extra Queens, Pawns & 4 Extra Knights Golden Rosewood/Maple and Inlaid Algebraic Notations

Excellent build and quality compared to the House of Staunton European magnetic chess set it replaced. The finish is smooth, and the wood really looks nice. The pieces have plenty of detail, without looking like they came from a miniature chess set. The magnetism is okay, but I would prefer them to be stronger since the pieces still slide around a little bit. The extra queen, pawn, and set of knights were also very nice. Lots of extras, plus all the pieces fit snugly in the foam under the board. The latches do their job but are flimsy. I would have hoped for a more solid latch. The leather sleeve that comes with the set is also a very nice addition. My last magnetic chess set got really scratched, and this sleeve will help with reducing that. I am very pleased.
