The Canyon

First of many

I'm blown away by the Rujo quality, particularly at their price point. I'm a Native Texan, in my mid-50s, and have been wearing cowboy boots since I was a little boy. My collection runs the gamut: from Hondo to Stallion, to Fenoglio to [the 80s and 90s when they were GOOD] Lucchese, Justin, and Tony Lama, to Japanese "cowboy" boots, and more; and Rujo tops a few on my list. Sizing and fit are spot-on, leather quality (vamps and tops/shafts) is consistent, stitching quality, GYW construction, etc. - all on-point. After wearing my black suede Canyon pair for a full day, I immediately ordered The Tate in bourbon. "Punching above its weight" is a saying that gets thrown around too loosely, IMO, but Rujo definitely does; these boots could easily command $500+

Perfection

I had no idea Rujo’s could be more comfortable. The suede adds just one more dimension of comfort, the soles are still absolute butter, now, add suede. The black couldn’t be better, 8th pair of Rujo’s, keep getting better no matter the price point!!

Smooth as silk

Not only great looking, they feel great. Fit was perfect and true to fit. This is my second pair of boot I’ve purchased and pleased on both. Great product!!
