These 1” gongs were a bonus to my order. I wasn’t sure how I’d use them. I dangled 2 of them off a bolt and 6” of chain at 100 yards for 22lr plinking. They have become the 556 shooters favorite target. The third one got tied to a horizontal limb by cable 50 yards off the sight in bench at deer camp. It’s been a great target to let the grandsons waste 22 shells.

I made the mistake of buying some “AR500” steel targets online. They turned out to be Chinesium They lasted a day They were mild steel at best. You get what you pay for

I picked these up to challenge myself at longer ranges. They make a nice 30 yard and beyond test target to try and figure the wind out. So far its just learning how to estimate the wind and develop good trigger control with my old springer air rifles.
