These are wonderful harnesses for digs and the mini could be used for cats. I use mine all the time they are made with great material but my best example is I use to fight with my pap to get him into a harness and now he comes over puts his head in and waits for me to snap it together.

Easy to chew through

I love the general design of the harness and it’s much more comfortable and easy to use than others I’ve tried with my dog. However, in the 14 minute drive from the house to the trail head for our weekly walk, my dog managed to chew through the harness in two spots. Even though it does not claim to be chew resistant, I would have at least expected it to be a bit more durable. 14 minutes with no previous tears (I had just inspected it before putting it on) should not render it completely useless, so I was pretty disappointed to say the least. If I had thought the quality would be the same as the cheaper harnesses I had been using, I wouldn’t have spent the extra money. The other harness we were using before which I believe was Chewy brand, was previously used by a friend’s dog, had a small tear from that dog, and still has lasted us for months with no significant damage, whereas the freedom hardness which I was so excited to be using lasted us less than a week brand new.
