Easy install. I use the truck in the beach exclusively so steel skids just rust and fall off. This thing is very thick and is perfect for my application. It’s the same thickness and powder coat as the TRD Pro aluminum skids . I’m sure it can stand up to some decent terrain with rocks and trees but most of my driving is beach and , small rocks/boulders and small trees and brush. It is more than adequate to stop any puncture I could throw at it. I also have the Rival transmission skid plate.
