NERO Summer Suit

Perfect...with a HUGE caveat!

Was eager to get back in and give a 5 star review for the kit as I was happy with the other suit I had (the one with the cargo pocket). Although I wasn't a fan of the cargo pocket and the gripper was too long im my opinion i still gave it 5 Stars as those were subjective and did not affect performance. However my issue with this one affects performance. The GOOD...I'm 6ft 1 and weigh 208lbs. I oredered the XL and it fits PERFECTLY!!! The fabric is nice. I live in Barbados and it's cool and suits our summer temperatures. However, THE BAD...about 40 mins in to my ride, I was 3 hr ride uncomfortable. The chamois in my suit is located too far forward, as a result I'm getting little to no padding support on the saddle. I noticed this as soon as I put it on. Made me wonder if I had put it on backwards (no lie). I don't know if i was unlucky and mine slipped passed QC, but it looks like this will be my "efforts" kit! : ( Also the stitching on the zipper looks like it could more secure/reinforced. All other sticithing on kit looks high end.

Fast suit

Excellent quality. It's both compressive but lightweight. Detailing is subtle and cool. Sizing was good for me; I'm 180cm, 80kg, I'm normally a medium in maap and rapha but chart for this put me the first box in L. I also listened to Jesse say to size up if you're in between so I did. L is good race fit on me and an M would have been too small. Very happy 😊

Fantastic fit but let down on quality

Absolutely on-the-money fit for me at 6’2, 92kg. It is super comfortable, easy to get in/out of and obviously disastrously rapid. However, after one wear and wash, the stitching behind the neck is already starting to come apart. Fairly minor but wouldn’t expect this with a literally brand new item
