Use this instead of that shop rag with tape around it!
That's what I was doing until I got this cover. While that "worked", it was nowhere near as neat and clean as this AMMO cable cover, nor as plush and soft. Also, it is the perfect length to cover my trickle charger cable as it is draped over the front end of the car. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and works well
This was a piece of cake to use on the portion of the charging cord which rests on the body panel of my 03 Corvette. Only feedback is perhaps it could be a bit longer - just due to the fact it may lay on a decently long portion of a body panel.

Works great for EV chargers too!
I bought a couple of these for my trickle chargers, but I also use one on my EV charger too. I used to have a small microfiber towel wrapped with a piece of velcro to hold it to protect the door of my other car from rubbing against it when I opened it's door. This worked perfect for that too. Can't wait for these to get restock so I can order one more. - Thanks Larry!
