Failed to Meet Expectations for our New England Winters

I was disappointed in the thickness of the wool, especially for the cost. I bought the hat for my son who spends much of his free time in the mountains of Maine and New Hampshire during all four seasons where winters can be extremely cold. While visiting a local Alpaca farm last fall I purchased one of their knitted hats which I found to be beautifully crafted as well as plusher for less than the cost of the fisherman’s hat plus the tax.
