I wanted to love this machine and I do like it very much, but it is a noisy machine that thunks and makes clunking noises when I'm sewing through thick layers of fabric. I've never loved machines with plastic bobbins but this machine shouldn't have given me so many problems sewing cloth sanitary pads. I like many features like the automatic cut, needle up/down, and large foot pedal, but I don't think I would recommend it for someone sewing multiple layers of denim or leather.
