Evotech Ducati Monster 1100 EVO Tail Tidy 2011 - 2015

It seems solid and looks good, but unfortunately didn't fit the bike.

I just got to installing the tail tidy during the Christmas holidays, and it does NOT fit the bike (2011 Ducati Monster 1100 Evo) as it is supposed to. The distance from the lock cylinder to the lock itself is too large that the cable is over extended and the lock doesn't lock, but instead remains open. I measured the distance between the lock cylinder and the rear bolt as a reference point, and on the original tail it measures 7.5 cm, on the Evotech it measures 9.5 cm. Which means the location for the lock cylinder is wrong. I contacted support about this via the website and email. Awaiting their reply after the holidays.
