Great bag….

keeps odor in but lacks some functionality

Got this to store my flower, grinder, and spare accessories. This truly keeps the odor in, and I love the flexibility of organization (however, that needs some revision for funtionality). The main compartment dividers are perfectly sized for a small 4oz Evergreen jar in the middle, with grinder on one side (plus room to spare), and all my chargers + PAX accessories + spare vape pen on the other. I think you could also fit 3x 4oz mason jars on their side with 1 in each compartment. I'm not using the back elastic pouch, but that's sized to maybe fit a charger cable or something small; it doesn't run the full width. My criticism is the top section - there's seemingly a lot of built in functionality, but not that I can make sense of. Considering this is the first thing you see when you open the bag, and it's readily accessible, it's a shame it's not more functional. I suppose the elastic pouch could accommodate my chargers and PAX accessories, but the loops are completely worthless as designed with very little stretch. The smallest loop fits a stick/ digger rod implement, or tweezers. The medium loop is too small to fit anything larger than a ballpoint Bic pen. The large loop is too small for my PAX Plus or Cloudious9 flower vapes but a bit oversized for a pen (maybe it would fit the PAX Era?). I keep my spare flower vape in the pouch, but since that stacks over the large loop I can't store my spare vape pen there because it's too thick to zip closed (one of the pics shows me trying to pinch it all closed with the Cloudious9 in the pocket and Standard Farms pen in the large loop). If the large loop was on the zipper side, that would work to hold a pen while also utilizing the netted pocket. But that still leaves the conundrum of the worthless middle loop. It's worth noting the "loop flap insert" is removable (you could stick the inner Velcro tab into the back pocket in the main compartment to keep it out of the way), but I like having a "clean shelf" when you first open the bag. DESIGN TIPS: The Velcro tab should be on the smaller loop side so the back pocket and large loop aren't competing for space, and the large + middle loops need more stretch. I'm thinking I'll add some adhesive velcro to the small loop side to mod it myself. For reference, I also got the Pocket Buddy for my primary flower and pen vapes. I can't imagine having the Sidekick be my primary bag for vapes and having to actually utilize that top section. So minus 2 stars for this design flaw since it's fairly significant oversight. I love the combination lock. Others have commented the zipper has failed over time. Where it's making some 90-degree turns around the corners it's one of those zippers I feel like you need to take your time with and be gentle. I hate Velcro, so time will tell how this holds up.
