The shoes seem well built and I appreciate the wide sizes.

Nice fit, good looking shoes.

Good footwear with lengthy name
The Cloud Plus Waterproof Lace-Up Trekker appears to be built on an athletic last as opposed to a typical oxford-shoe last. That means the shoe runs small. Originally, I compared a size 10D to a 10EE thinking that one of those pairs would be a perfect fit. The EE was the correct width, but both were too short with my big toe contacting the front of the toebox. I reordered in size 11EE; that proved a perfect fit. The construction quality is good. Stitching is perfect. The upper is glued immaculately to the EVA midsole. There is no damage to, or loose threads within, the inside of the shoe. Additionally, the outsole is rubber, which means the shoe should remain relatively grippy even as the tread wears. The cushioning overall is good and feels comfortable. The innersole is removable so once the existing insole fully compresses, it easily can be replaced with another of my choosing. I don’t use orthotics, but I imagine they can be used in this shoe if someone desires. Overall, I find Rockport-Dunham shoes to be good quality at reasonable prices. They have become my primary choice when seeking most non-athletic footwear. There is one caveat: I would avoid models that have an EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate—compression molded or not; it doesn’t matter) outersole/outsole. That material when it wears—even relatively little—results in a tread that is dangerously slippery on wet or waxed floors or similar surfaces.
