The Tailor - Proper Fit - Black & White Striped Oxford

Comfortable and stylish

This is my third POMP shirt in the Proper Fit, and I love it! The fabric softens a bit with washing, and the fit is great. I did size up from my first Proper shirt because after a few washings I found the shirt had the slightest gape around the buttons at the bust line. I can still wear the first shirt but this one has a bit more room to move in. One item to note is that the pocket's inside seam edges are not finished (i.e. they fray). I don't think this will be an issue for me as I don't usually put anything in the pocket, but if you do like to actually use the pocket you may find that over time the seam will split open. Considering the cost of the shirt, I think this is something POMP could fix easily and it would just add that final finishing touch to make the shirt perfect. Otherwise, I love this shirt, particularly the black and white striped pattern which looks very professional when paired with a pair of black trousers.

Best shirt - now in stripes!

Ok, my favourite Oxford (yes I’m obsessed) now in stripes! I love a good striped button-up and have several but nothing like this. It says black and white but it’s really more of a white shirt with dark grey stripes… could not be better - I’m in love!

Quality all round

The new black and white striped oxford is lovely - beautifully constructed, perfect fit and a breeze to wash and iron. These cotton shirts are the best.
