My reel arrived with a bent bail. I didn't realize right away. I went fishing and discovered the bail was making contact with the spool when I opened it and my line had spooled unevenly. I bent the spool back into shape and it has been pretty good so far. There is a regular click I can feel when the line is under pressure but that my be from me fiddling with it while figuring out the bail issue. There is a positive click when opening the bail that I like. Really feels like it is locking open. I have caught several lunkers on it so far this year and it has performed admirably.
