7+ lbs first day out

It took a little time to get this rod but it was worth the wait. I bought the 7'2" model for casting small crankbaits and paired it with a baitcaster spooled up with 10lb flouro. The rod has enough backbone to handle a 7 pound largemouth and enough tip to cast a 1/4 ounce crankbait 60-70 foot with ease. Great rod at a great price...I would do it again in a heartbeat!

cranking small baits

I bought this rod specifically for small crankbaits 1/4 ounce or less. It has enough backbone to land 4+ pound bass without problems. The flex in the tip is just enough for the bass to get a firm bite on the bait before the rod flexes. All in all its a very good rod for my purpose. Only down side is the length and girth of the rod grip doesn't fit my hand very well....once you get use to it, its mangeable

great rod and great customer service

Kastking keeps impressing me. Sent out a new rod after first tip broke just a fluke of an occurrence. There customer service was quick and I having no issues with the second one. It is my go to summer rod and reel!!!
