Great Pattern!
This is a great pattern, and the coat came out really cute! I used a fleecy stretch knit from a repurposed Nike athletic shirt to make it. This required some extra steps - I had to fuse the tiny pockets, flaps, and cuffs for the sleeves to a lightweight woven interfacing in order to keep them looking square. But that was the fault of the fabric, not the pattern. The instructions and accuracy of the pattern are excellent!

Great coat waterproof too!
I had already made the Oxford Square Coat for 18" dolls, so I knew this would be just as good. The pattern was very easy to follow and took only a couple or so hours to make up. I wanted a coat that would make a good raincoat and this one with the hood was perfect. The raglan sleeves make it easier for beginning sewists. Mine was made using PUL fabric and the hood was lined with a matching cotton canvas. I did make a couple of adjustments, I omitted the grosgrain ribbon along the hood join by sandwiching the seam under the lining. I also added a bit of hook and loop tape to the pocket flaps and used kam snaps for the front closure. There is sufficient room in the coat for your doll to wear her winter clothes under her coat. I am already planning to make a few more of these.

Love this versatile coat!
Can't say enough about this coat. Super cute and super easy to sew. Love the attention to detail with the pockets and the hem tape along the hood lining. Will also be making more of this for spring as well as winter. Here's Rahel modeling her red coat.
