Like many, I purchased a sample of Van Exstasyx in the hopes of finding a true vanilla. This was in my third batch of many sample purchases and I'm so glad I tried it!
This perfume is truly the holy grail of vanilla, and I tried so many, including all of the cult-favorite recommended go-tos.
On my skin, this is a true, warm, long-lasting vanilla. One spray was more than enough for an all day wear. It's projection is better than one spray of similar scents. There are a few mentions of cocoa in other reviews and this only comes across for a moment and then it's all vanilla. To me, this most similarly smells like Sucre Noir with more complexity and warmth. A must try sample for those on a true vanilla journey. I ended up buying a full bottle and have zero regrets!
