I purchased the Custom Oil-Waxed Bulletprufes in Blackout, 6th Gen. At first glance, they do not appear waxed. But when you hold and feel them, you can tell. The wax adds heft to the pants. They are not stiff at alll, to my surprise. Even though twaxed, the pants are still very soft and pliable. they do feel like quality gear that should last years. I look forward to purchase these same pants unwaxed. Go ahead and grab a pair if you're interested. Glad I did.

They’re pretty dope

The color you see online versus what you actually get can be a little misleading. When they arrive, they have more of an oiled, wet look and feel. But if you scrape them or they get worn in certain spots, you’ll notice that wax-flake effect underneath. I’ve got all three colors, and the biggest thing is just understanding how this material works. You don’t wash them. You use a stiff bristle brush to knock the dirt out by breaking loose the surface wax. After that, you re-wax the area with your bar they provide you with ,then hit it with heat to set it. They instantly return back to the fresh oiled look . I use a heat gun myself — makes the job way faster and gives a cleaner finish. I actually love them and I been waxing everything around the house. You guys only sent me one 2x2 wax bar for 3 pants though. I though for the price that was a bit stingy . I love the product though and do recommend.
