Great fly in the Northern Sierra Range
I just tried these out last week in some creeks and a small lake. The pattern did great! And holds up very well. I caught over a dozen nice rainbows and a few good sized Lahontans all on the same fly. It'll get down fast if you want it to, or keep it higher in the column. Fun fly!!

Great panfish flies!
These babies even work for sunfish and cichlid if you work it long enough. Great tying and customer service!
