After about a week with the Filson Tin Cloth Primaloft Vest, I’m really impressed. It’s been cold and rainy, and this thing has been perfect layered over my Prospector hoodie. Filson sizing can be a little inconsistent, I usually wear a medium, but this vest runs big. I went with a small, and it fits exactly how I want, even with a hoodie underneath. The tin cloth does what it’s supposed to do in wet weather, and the Primaloft insulation adds solid warmth without feeling bulky. One of the standout features for me is the lined hand pockets—they’re seriously warm and comfortable, especially in the cold. So far, it feels like one of those pieces that’s just easy to grab every day without thinking about it.

I have two of these. One to work in and the other to go out in. Excellent quality and cut. I like how its a little long to cover your backside. Top shelf.
