I love my Hoofboss! It makes trimming super hard dry hooves much faster and easier. This makes my life easier because my horses don't have to stand as long. My old horses are more comfortable because their trims are so much faster. Young horses behave better because their trims are faster. I can trim even in the summer when hooves are so hard its impossible to use even a very sharp hoof knife. I haven't had a horse yet absolutely refuse to let me use the Hoofboss on them with a proper introduction to the tool.

So far I like it! I still practice on wood and desensitize my horses to the noise and vibration. I was surprised how noisy it is. I also find it hard to start it one handed as my hands are small and the reason I bought it was because I’m starting to have trouble with my hands. That’s the reason for 4 stars and not 5. Does work great though. And I think it will make a huge difference especially when the hoofs are rock hard.
