Mother's Day often does not feel like a celebration for my mom, as the last few years she has been secretly ordering flowers from a large corporation for my grandmother in my grandpa's name so that grandma doesn't have to feel the weight of his progessing dementia. She's always busy playing "Santa Clause" behind the scenes. I made the last minute decision to order flowers for delivery on the day before in hopes of creating a day that's just for her. I saw an UrbanStems ad that tickled me, so I researched about the CEO and learned why it was created. In true corporate flower delivery fashion, 1-800-FLOWERS delayed my grandmothers flower delivery by 1-2 days, meaning without the flowers I ordered, my mother/grandmother would not have gotten their physical and metaphorical flowers on time. Lovely floeers. Fulfilled orders as promised. I find the customer interface to order quite difficult. Not easy to put in a new delivery address. ????
