luck … or something Signed Vinyl

The album’s artwork and pressing quality are incredible, though it’s honestly disappointing to receive an autograph made with an autopen. I had been looking forward to getting something signed by Hilary, and I was really disappointed to see that the item was sold as a hand-signed insert when it wasn’t actually signed that way. The album is amazing, though this issue I mentioned really upset me.

I’m extremely disappointed with this so called “signed” vinyl from Hilary Duff. I purchased it believing I was getting an authentic hand signed item, only to receive what very clearly appears to be an auto pen signature. The signature looks printed and identical to others I’ve seen no natural variation, no pressure marks, nothing that suggests it was actually signed by hand. Fans pay a premium for signed merchandise because it’s supposed to be personal and authentic. If this was produced using an auto pen, that should have been clearly disclosed upfront. Marketing it as “signed” without transparency feels misleading and unfair to loyal supporters who are spending their hard earned money. As longtime fans, we expect honesty and authenticity…especially when it comes to collectible items. This experience left me feeling taken advantage of rather than appreciated. Very disappointing.
