Darn it! I didn’t want to like it this much. I was curious about the Journaler nib; paid $310 for the configuration I ordered and have at least one pen that cost four times that-and now this one is the only one I’m using. Try one and see what you think.

My husband (not a fountain pen user) completely surprised me with this pen for Christmas. It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way! It’s my first Esterbrook, but definitely not my last:)
