I Wanted A Pony

An absolutely fantastic vintage read, and beautifully printed by JBB. Augusta’s plucky, and wonderfully real. Her relatives are suitably awful, and Daybreak supremely lovely. The scene where Augusta sells her horrible hat and (not-horrible silver buttons) to make up his sale-price is an absolute joy.
