I live in Victoria, Australia and winter’s biting right now. I got this thermal pad for my aging kelpie who shivers on cold mornings. Great design. This heat pad is the great investment for dpgs during the winter

We’re in the middle of winter here in New South Wales, and the nights have been freezing lately. I was genuinely worried about my little dachshund, Molly — she’s 11 now and gets stiff when it’s cold. I didn’t want to use anything electric for safety reasons, so I gave this HeatHaven thermal pad a try. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, but it absolutely exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly soft and plush, like a warm fleece blanket, and the best part is how it seems to reflect her body heat and keep her cozy for hours. I placed it in her bed by the window (which gets quite chilly), and she hasn't budged from it since. She used to crawl into bed with me around 3am, but now she’s happily snoring in her own little corner all night. It washes easily and hasn’t lost its fluffiness at all. For something that doesn’t plug in or heat up with electricity, it’s surprisingly effective. If you're in Australia and your pup gets cold during the winter months, this is such a worthwhile buy. I’m planning to get a second one for our other dog, too!

I bought this for my rescue beagle who gets cold easily, especially during the nights. I’ve tried plug-in heated beds before, but I’m always nervous about fire hazards. This one is different — no cords, no plugs, yet it really holds warmth from her body. The padding is thicker than I expected and very soft. It fits nicely in her crate and even after a wash, it kept its shape. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a senior or short-haired pup!
