Portal Downhill Package (Evo & Portal)

Just FANTASTIC!!!!

I purchased my outbound set just before my race this weekend. They were easy to order and quick to be delivered. I worked with customer service and they were very responsive and helpful. I rode them in a race called 24 in the Canyon @ Palo Duro Canyon in Texas. Where I rode (5) 8.5 mile laps at night getting to use the lights and was I grateful for them. I’ve not really been much for riding at night, but with these lights I don’t mind it. That being said I think I could have gone the whole night and not charged them, but not wanting to chance it not having tested them I put them on the charge for a couple of short bursts in between laps for peace of mind. I used the adaptive setting and it gave me plenty of visibility. It was nice knowing the could go brighter if needed to. If I had to give any criticism, it would be that the helmet light felt heavy at times and being honest they are not light weight, but you can’t really get that performance without sacrificing something. So i would ABSOLUTELY recommend these lights based on my experience. You definitely get what you pay for.
