I purchased this belt in December 2023 after getting tired of buying cheap belts that would peel and need to be replaced every couple of months. I came across Origin through the Jocko Podcast and decided to give it a shot. Now it is June 2026, and the belt has held up incredibly well. I wear it almost daily and it still looks great. The patina it has developed over time looks awesome and gives it even more character. If anyone is in need of a quality belt, do not hesitate to pick one up. I would like to get a pair of boots next because this belt has shown me that Origin’s leather quality is excellent.

Careful with sizing

Read the reviews and was torn on what size to order. I wear a size 34 waist and all my current belts were size 36 and worked perfectly. I went ahead and ordered 2 size 36 belts, 1 onyx and 1 whiskey. They are too large. I used a leather punch to add an extra hole on each belt, not a perfect solution though as the extra leather beyond the buckle is longer than I would like. On the positive side, the belts are good looking, supple, with a solid, substantial feel.

Honestly my only complaint is that it's super soft almost grippy leather. Doesn't slide through the pant loops too well either on or off. But its not bonded trash and looks decent. No, super classy. If I were to request anything it'd be hard slippery leather option. Gloss black if possible. Proud to wear it though!
