This is Not a Love Spell

This is the blueberry and Violet fragrance of my dreams. The blueberry is perfectly jammy with the star anise giving it an intoxicating depth and the violet gives ut a beautiful softness. I need the 100ml for sure.

Odd chemical note

This is so lovely at first, with the blueberry and violet mingling to make a sweet, soft, fruity scent. But as the fragrance develops and dries down, a strange and very unpleasant note comes in. It's a chemical or slightly gasoline-ish smell and it ruins everything (for me). Is it the creeping ivy or maybe the anise? I wish this was as good on me as the other reviews say, but unfortunately not. I've tried it several times, hoping maybe after it rested for a long time it would be OK, but there's been no change. Maybe get a sample first in case your chemistry doesn't work well with this - I got a full size based on the notes alone and I can't use it at all.

What a princess might wear

The initial smell is loud blueberry jam and it's almost too much, but it levels out immediately on skin. The dry down is less berry and more green vine. There's a "soap" like note but it gives more of a fresh earth tone than artificial soap scent.
