CaliberX Soft Armor Side Panels

Quality is decent. Updated review.

To preface this review I am a Correctional Officer specifically an Inmate Transporter and I wear body armor every day. I am also in charge of the Armory. I'm giving this 4 stars. The quality of the armor is great. It's the fit that docks it 1 star. The inserts are between a quarter and a half inch to long. Width is perfect though. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone that is in search of quality affordable armor. I am updating my review to give it a 5 star. After my first review, I was talking to a friend of mine that has the same cummerbund and carrier as I do and so we tried fitting the inserts into his and they fit perfectly without any wrinkles in the armor. So I believe that it was my cummerbund that was at fault. I was able to fix the issue by cutting one stitch out and re-sewing the cummerbund.

Did perfectly in the side plate cumberbund

Soft plates provide trauma reduction with hard armor plates for the side protection. These pads are bullet resistant and are sealed well with quality materials.
