Name brand isn't always best. . .

I needed these for post surgery and the doctor gave a list of approved brands. This was the least expensive of the approved I found. While they did provide compression, I had the worst time with them. They continuously rolled down and where they rolled would "strangle" my calf. I looked like Momma from the show Momma's Family. I ended up stopping using these and going to my medical thigh high compression stocking which were Ames Walker brand and were 1000% better.
