I should have called and asked the experts at Ames Walker what size to get. I have always worn the same size over the years. But for some reason I just have a really hard time getting them on and off. I will call them and seek if I can't get a better size. I love the grip top and will always wear those. They make an enormous difference on comfort.

These are great compression stockings however even washing in cool water and drying on a rack they have shrunk some making them shorter and tighter. They do stretch out again to be worn once I get them on!

Really like the silicon beading that helps to keep the top from rolling down. Have worn other brands that are not nearly as comfortable.
