I wear these due to a DVT. I am tall and slim and most socks that would fit my foot size have a much too large ankle, defeating the purpose of graduated compression. I called Ames Walker, explained my difficulties and was guided to these socks in a size IV. Pricey, however, they fit and feel fantastic.
