Xtra Set - VB XL Chess Pieces

Upon receiving my mini, I immediately ordered the XL! The mini is excellent for at work study but the XL is excellent for at home study. I primiarly use the XL when I’m too lazy to set up my silicone mats and chess pieces. With the XL I can lay comfortably in bed and work through variations which are too diffuclt for me to mentally visualize. The XL will be my travel companion when I want to compete again live opponents (the more standard chess like pieces helps with game play). However, the mini is my travel chess set of choice for independent study. Both sets are sturdy and the magnetization is appropriate. FYI the XL’s King piece now has a cross on top making it more easily distinguishable from the queen (love a company which listens to feedback and makes the appropriate changes)

Great set

Looking for a minimalist set that's magnetic, look at this set. We'll made, no over mold scrap, magnets are strong enough and compact to not be unsightly. I have my set on a roll up leather board that stores pieces. Worthy for sure. Attractive set.
