Veloci, you almost have it!

PROS: 1. Wide toe box is great for my Morton’s Neuroma and truly any foot. 2. 10mm drop is perfect for running 3. Cushion is good. (see 3 below). CONS: 1. The shoe liner is stiff- more like a Vionic shoe versus Hoka/Brooks. I also notice the outside seems to push up which is weird. I’m hoping it forms to my foot after a few more runs. 2. Shoelaces: given these are wide shoes and I have a narrow foot, I need to take the laces to last hard to thread slot to lock my heel in. You would think the shoelaces would be long enough to easily accomplish this. But like most running shoes, hard no. 3. Shoe does feel heavier and stiffer than Brooks, but not oppressively so. I would love for them to shave off some weight. I’m thrilled to be running again after a few weeks off and hope the Veloci handles long runs well while holding up to consistent miles. I’d love to have a lower cushion weightlifting shoe that still has a decent drop.

Beats HOKA & Altra

This is my second pair of Women's Ascent shoes from Veloci. I have many HOKA and Altra shoes in my closet but I just grab my Veloci's now. I need a shoe with a wide toe base and I recently got plantar fasciitis on one foot. The Hoka's and Altra's weren't taking care of the plantar problem. The Veloci's did. I'm scared to wear anything but the Veloci's as I'm afraid the pf will flare up again!!! Got a second pair as I wear these golfing as well. The wide toe base is perfect for me. I had to order the HOKA's in Wide so that I could get enough room in the toe base but I didn't need the Wide shoe anywhere else so it was frustrating. The Veloci's run true to size - I'm a size 8 and the size 8 Veloci fits perfectly.

Not true to size, order up if uou have flat feer or wide feet, i feel like othee brands are better
